Alongside the large international groups such as Serono, Sanofi Aventis, Abbot, Ceva Santé Animale…a number of specialist SMEs are rapidly developing services with high added value.
The work of National Laboratories and the “High School for Biomolecular Technology” in Bordeaux underpin the region’s strength in this field. Three of the five Aquitaine Universities and twelve graduate schools are directly involved.
