Ippon Technologies have established a new agency in Bordeaux

Stéphane Nomis, a former elite athlete who enjoyed international success in Judoka, decided to launch Ippon Technologies. The company is based in Paris, and provides support and consulting for ICT systems, specialising in Java EE architecture, business portals and integrative technologies (ESB, SOA).

The skill and experience of Ippon’s Consultants allow them to produce cutting-edge applications: the Paris Chamber of Commerce (CCIP) recently called on their services when establishing a new office, using their expertise to ensure full coherence and cooperation between the 17 separate organisations which fall under the remit of the CCIP.
At the local level, Ippon Technologies were also involved in the new Aquitaine Cap Métiers centre, a cutting-edge regional employment and training centre which brings together all job offers and related services in the Aquitaine region.

“Opening a new office in Bordeaux is part of our policy of branching out into other areas of France, getting closer to clients who were previously dealing with our Paris office,” explains Stéphane Bergès, Director of the Bordeaux and Nantes branches. “We have had an office in Nantes since 2007, but this new branch is a great strategic asset which allows us to cover the whole south-west. We work with clients at our own offices, but we also provide on-site technical supports for clients such as the Yellow Pages, the Aquitaine Regional Assembly and the CETE.
Our agencies also act as service centres, which means we can provide services for customers elsewhere in the south-west, like Air France and Thalès in Toulouse. It was really important for us to establish that local presence.”

The Bordeaux branch has been operational since last March, and expects to recruit around thirty employees by 2015.
