Nicolas Sarkozy’s new Airbus A330, a pre-owned version acquired by the French Government, will receive its presidential refit in the hangars of Sogerma Services at its Bordeaux-Mérignac plant.
It will replace the current presidential aircraft, an A319, providing more capacity and a much greater operating range.
The maintenance affiliate of TaT Sabena Technics, Sogerma Bordeaux is recognized for its longstanding expertise in fitting out VIP aircraft. The A330 is scheduled to arrive next spring for its year-long makeover.
