The ninth Colloquium of the Neurosciences Society has been held once more at the Palais des Congrès in Bordeaux, concluding on 29 May. This is no chance happening, for Bordeaux provides a solid base for the neurosciences community and the Society has its HQ here.
Held for the third time in Bordeaux, this biennial colloquium provides opportunities for exchanges between researchers, students and clinicians concerning cerebral functionality and pathology. It brings together nearly 1,200 delegates, the greater part of whom are advanced postgraduate students.
It also affords an opportunity to promote the strengths of the Bordeaux center of excellence in neurosciences - the use of stimulation in the treatment of Parkinson’s Disease and of obsessive-compulsive disorders.
