Bordeaux architects King Kong are about to release their design proposals for a de luxe hotel, whose white facade will be created entirely from Corian®, a world first.
The architects at King Kong have envisioned a slightly crazy sculptural concept, which is a complete break, and at the same time, perfectly in sympathy with the ‘City of Stone’ spirit that is fundamental to the architectural character of Bordeaux. As they say themselves, it is an architectural project which is innovative, of matchless quality and which is totally in step with the mood of the city and those who value it.
The facade of the Hotel Seeko’o (glacier or iceberg in Inuit) is basically smooth and white, which throws into relief the sculptural character of the building. Add to this the regular punctuation of the windows, its highlights and its shadows, and the sculptural effect is enhanced beyond measure.
