Ceva Santé Animal Heads for Fifth Ranking

Based at Libourne, near Bordeaux, veterinary pharmacist Ceva Santé Animale is opening a new workshop and control lab.

The existing control lab, at 12,500m2, is now doubled in size. The company employs 2,300 worldwide, of which 500 are in Libourne. Its turnover equates to around $577 million.

From its inception ten years ago, Céva Santé Animal has grown to become ninth largest group in its field. Over the next ten years, it aims to rank fifth in the world, with a turnover of around $1.5 billion.

To achieve this, the company is putting its money into R&D, investing 8% of turnover, while strongly pursuing a strategy of acquisition. Already with a strong foothold in the US, it is now aiming to set up in China.
