CEVA sets up in China

The CEVA Animal Heath group, world leader in veterinary health, has created a joint venture with Chinese company HUADU, a subsidiary of the State-owned CAG agrifood group. It will employ over 200 people in Beijing.
Marc PRIKASKY, CEO of the Libourne group, explains that there are “780 million swine in the country, which make up 60% of the world swine population”.
CEVA, the world’s ninth veterinary health company, has 2,789 employees, 600 of whom are based in Libourne. An investment of €17 million will be made on the Gironde unit where injection production capacity will be doubled.
