Classified by UNESCO, Bordeaux tops the list for the largest number of historic monuments.
This has emerged from a survey carried out by Arts Magazine on the most art-rich cities. The survey rates Bordeaux as fourth richest among cities of more than 100,000 population, behind Lyon, Strasbourg and Toulouse according using the criteria of museums, art galleries, historic monuments, major events and attendances.
In this regard, it is worth noting that this fall, Bordeaux will be launching Evento, a biennial event featuring urban creativity and dedicated to the plastic arts, the theater and dance.
