Bordeaux Airport: over 4 million passengers

The year 2011 was a remarkable one for Bordeaux Airport.
Bordeaux-Mérignac climbs to first place for French airports in terms of growth: +11% between 2010 and 2011 and over 4 million passengers.
This result is due to the opening of new international flights: to Reunion Island, Lisbon, Madrid, Seville, Barcelona, Porto, Malaga, Bologna, Edinburgh... In terms of passenger volume, it is in sixth place after Paris, Nice, Marseille, Lyon and Toulouse.
